Sad to announce, Luciole's dear mighty contributing poet and friend Scott Wannberg has passed

In deep sadness to lose Scott Wannberg, a mighty friend of Luciole even before its creation. Last heard from Scott on Tuesday - he said he had a virus. His voice will ring in my ears and mind as a beacon of truth, humor, and the very best way to look at life. I love you Scott, as did my mom. (She passed Aug. 25th, 2010, in photo, w/Scott, S.A. Griffin, & me)  ♥ ♥ ♥

Since I haven't been well, Scott Wannberg recently sent me a hilarious drawing he made to hang on my wall. I hope you know how much it cracked me up, Scott, and how much I truly treasure it, alongside prized signed books you sent with equally funny inscriptions. Your generous heart will still be here with all of us; thank goodness for all the lives you've touched and your hugely incredible outpouring of creative expression...

Scott Wannberg and S.A. Griffin have taught me how important it is to have a Tumbleweed in a Box! This is an important cosmic lesson!

Low res outtakes from Tumbleweed In A Box with S.A. Griffin, Scott Wannberg, Jim Balsom, Iris Berry, Risa Mickenberg and CC Skusa. Tumbleweed In A Box (.com) is no longer owned by S.A. Griffin, some other T-weed wrangler now owns it.

We all love you Scott. Happy journey to you; thanks for the

gift of your words, presence, and friendship.

You are an Immortal Poet Giant now.

Sadly, I did not know him, but clearly he was a giant soul.

With all that you are experiencing, I am sad that you need to add this to your challenges. I hope that you can find the strength in memory of this man to face your trials with dignity.

As he was an inspiration to you, you are an inspiration to others. Never run from that. Embrace it.

My sincere condolences at your loss, Karen. Sending you infinite strength and the little drop of wisdom I have.
