MATARIKI SEVEN SISTERS 2011 ART EXHIBITION OPENING

Hosted by Mark Kopua's new Moko Ake ta moko studio in Titahi Bay, Wellington, the Matariki Seven Sisters 2011 art exhibition will be a fantastic celebration showcasing a diverse mix of 7 contemporary Maori wahine artists.

Featuring several Toihoukura graduates, and 3 local artists currently working in the rohe of Ngati Toa, many threads of Mahi Toi will be represented in the exhibition, from ta moko, to drawing, painting, jewellery, raranga and fashion.

Please join us for a fun-filled, entertaining evening of Matariki celebration! This event will also coincide with the official opening of Mark Kopua’s MOKO AKE STUDIO.
