New poem from Luciole friend/contributing poet Scott Wannberg: "go home, moon..."
go home, moon...
go home, moon...
you're not needed just now.
nobody need be able to see what's coming
by your
light.
let it
be
a genuine shock of
a
surprise.
take your devil versus god puppet show inside, please.
lots of death inducing
work
to be
done,
and distractions
really aren't
needed,or
welcome,
for
that
matter.
you once smiled
and said bring on the rain,
for i
truly
thirst,
but
now
all you have time to say
when anyone
is lucky
enough
to
get
through,
is
please
have
a spare
life raft.
