New poem from Luciole friend/contributing poet Scott Wannberg: "viable gust of wind"

viable gust of wind

invigorating unforseen sounds in paradise alley,
might be a disgruntled disheveled goat,
they get ornery right before ribbon cutting ceremony time,
maybe Junior can placate it,
with a gift of garrulous hilarity.

mind over matter,
the thought provoker
claimed
when the check came his way.
stack your empties
with love,
and stop trying to drown out the noise
of an ocean that's seen better
days.

the defense lawyers
all need to get up off the floor
soon,
as the cleaning person can't wait
in the rain
all
night.

whittle me up a world you can willfully wield.
tell Thor to take his thunderbolts home.
the gentle pestilence
falls asleep,
the not too damaged just yet children
are given eloquent kites
and all you
got to do
is wait
for
another
viable gust of wind.

the tables right themselves,
let the magic flow.
names can be exchanged,
if that's the agreed upon escape clause,
but rumors don't last long
when the musicians ask for your hand.

i'll go off and wander some,
my popcorn hasn't quite finished popping,
and i hear they got a feisty game
going on
3 flights up.
you can never predict the outcome,
so make sure your tie is straight,
and tell all your favorite wolves
you still know how to
howl.
