tell the mirthful people
the producer hasn't forgot the sacrifice
they collectively made
in order to make this surprise rehearsal,
someone will seat them
in a half hour or so.

when the last angry man
runs out of fuel,
and the benevolent amnesia choir
commences to whittle the air
with their
voices,
all trepidation
will cease,
and every nasty thought you thought you ever laid
to
rest
will rise
and begin
to
soiree
in
your
honor.
