I am going on vacation; I have set up updates for the blog so there will be something new each day. Check out the new Winter 2010 Issue of Luciole!

Hello to all readers --

Thanks so much for the lovely feedback on the new Winter 2010 Issue of Luciole Press... and thanks to those who left such lovely comments at Facebook

I am going to take a break, and will be back online next Monday, January 11th. I might check in occasionally, but for the most part I will be offline. I have set up the blog to update through the 11th. For those who subscribe to the blog here (this will not happen for those who subscribe at Facebook), you will receive a bulk emailing of the entries. Sorry for the avalanche! It is just how the blogsite does things...

The weather is supposed to be fantastic here for the week, and I look forward to getting out and enjoying it... hopefully I can get up to the mountains. The usual good stuff -- new books, fresh air, good food, walks, finding three hundred stray cats following me home (ok, not that many, but lots somehow show up nonetheless). I also have a ton to catch up on at home... so many things get put off while I am working on the new issue. I have already spent some time cleaning, re-organizing, etc., and enjoyed a really lovely lunch with family I rarely get to see.

I literally have over 5,000 messages in my inbox, so there is a lot to work through. I will be answering these when I get back, though give me time. Work on the next issue began long before I was finished with the Winter 2010 Issue, and there will be plenty to do when I come back online.

I hope you all are enjoying the beginning of this new year. Keep in touch; I'll be around.

Til then,
