Alida Ivanov Gallery is proud to present a one night performance by Nadine Byrne, ”Dream State Family Magic”
The idea for ”Dream State Family Magic” sprung from the combination of two parallel projects. The Magic State is an ongoing audiovisual project dealing with subjects like transcendence and ritual through sound and video. Dream Family is not only a performance group, but also a cult whose mission is to carry out various rituals and ceremonies. They are not strangers to The Magic State, but have always been background figures in the visuals; this time they take their rightful place in the spotlight.
Nadine Byrne was born in 1985 and is currently a student at the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm. She has made a name for herself, for her intricate and often dark style in sound, image and sculpture.
