    I could not agree more. Thank you for posting this. I worked on President Obama's campaign. I saw the kind of man he was from a day to day basis. He has completly exceed anyones expectations. We are so fortunate to have such an intelligent, thinking, articulate man lead the United States.

      I have seen many articles, and titles of articles, about people being shocked that Obama was awarded the prize... This was the only one I saw that supported him being chosen. There are probably others that I have not seen.

      I am most familiar with the work that Wangari Maathai has done, which is exceptional. I am really glad to hear her perspective on this... Let's hope that much good on all fronts comes from his award, and many congrats to him for winning.
