Luciole friends and contributors in a 2-day extravaganza of reading glory: David Smith and Scott Wannberg Oct. 10th at Skylight Books, and David, Scott, Ellyn Maybe and S.A. Griffin at Beyond Baroque on Oct. 11 (Los Angeles)

From Scott Wannberg:

scott and david's excellent los angeles adventures....info

yours truly is getting some time off(sparky says i can go) and
along with david smith, the author of the new great book White Time
shall be invading lost angels calif
for two hoedowns

sat oct 10 at skylight books on vermont blvd at 5 pm
sunday oct 11 at beyond baroque in venice, calif at i guess 4 pmish
(you can call to find out exact kick off if you need )

skylight will be myself, david, and captain/coach/father confessor
s.a.griffin(who then must go to story books for another
event of wordsmithing)
but there will be a bring your own any and everything
gathering of the forces at s.a. and lorraine's chalet
at 9 pmish

beyond baroque gives you myself,david,s.a.
and the unique stylings of ellyn maybe
the ultimate road warrior goddess and rap queen

there will be, after the beyond baroque event
a rollicking good time at david coons' fort
in mar vista...

scott and david must flee the territory on the morning of oct 12
as david is heavily in demand at work that evening in the
mythic community of san jose

so hopefully friends and internet fellow word pioneers
can make their rhythm sections known to
myself and king david
at one of these incandescent apparitions

sparky will be on his own while i'm gone

i shall be lighting out on wed sept 30 on the remarkable
16 hour train riff to san jose
where i shall abide with dave and marilyn oaks smith
until we head out for l.a. proper on oct 9
as david is working the river on oct 8
but this allows me to partake in the 3 day free folk/bluegrass
wunderkind in golden gate park
and even hopefully see prof dan langton
my sf state guru
who is still singing it

that is all

scott's laptop shall be dark from wed sept 30 to
wed october 14....

please refrain , if possible, from compiling lots of material for the poor
boy to decipher when he stumbles home from that second 16 hour
train leg of the journey from san jose to eugene

keep dancing, smiling, and avoid walking under glenn beck's
ladder

p.s.of course at both events i'll have my new tome as well which i will happily endorse for one and all

pps not sure if beyond baroque requires a stipend...sometimes they do, sometimes they don't...give em a call if you need to know for sure...skylight usually passes around a jar,no stipend required upon entry point
