The WeishÄupl Agency needs to realize that the shock value in this type of advertising comes with heavy consequences. Backlash comes to mind, for them and for HIV/Aids patients. It is in my opinion in very poor taste. The fact it was posted on YOUTUBE does not mean it has appeal. There are people on YOUTUBE who think the world of Adolf Hilter and would watch this commercial for enjoyment, completely missing the intended message. Clearly, this ad campaign does not deserve a Cleo, the award given to progessionals in Advertising.

Wow, good point Christine... I had not thought about how it could affect the way sufferers of HIV/AIDS are viewed, but that may well have an adverse effect (even though the ad's designers wanted to put his face on the virus, it may yet be conflated with the sufferers).

      Thanks for those points.
