American journalists Laura Ling (top) and Euna Lee disembark from the plane that brought them back from North Korea in Burbank, California August 5, 2009. Ling, 32, and Lee, 36, freed by North Korea from months of detention, returned to U.S. soil early on Wednesday accompanied by former President Bill Clinton, who secured their release in a meeting with the hermit state's leader Kim Jong-il.

There are no words which can adequately express my happiness for the release of Euna and Laura, only tears which flow with the sight of these pictures. Welcome home Euna and Laura. Your country embraces you as well, on your return home.
