The hometown rez bros of Dan Nanamkin are pulling it together this evening and tomorrow night to help raise funds for Dan and the family. If you live on the Colville Indian Reservation, our outside cities...come out and show your support!

Our good friend Dan was in a serious car accident on Monday night in Oregon. I just got an update from his sister Shelly as to his condition. From what I understand he hit a horse around midnight Monday night/Tuesday morning.
Shelly says she has been with him all day singing and praying with him. He is still in a very fragile state in ICU, but is making good progress. Dan has a broken neck, broken ribs, broken shoulder, concussion and is going into surgery tomorrow. He has deep facial lacerations and will need plastic surgery on his eye. His doctors are keeping him in sedation right now so that he can relax his mind and body, he is breathing through a respirator, but Shelly says he is making good progress - albeit slowly, but still making good and positive progress.
If you know Dan -- you know he is a kind hearted soul and down right good person -- with an amazing sense of humor, love of our culture, traditions and youth.

He is known as "Dan the Man," "The Indun Elvis," and "The Commod Bod God!" That's his sense of humor!
